Reiki History

Japanese word that can be broken down to Rei (Gods wisdom or higher) and Ki(energy) so Reiki means spiritually guided life energy or Universal Life Energy.

What is Reiki?

It is the laying of the hands with standard hand positions

Energy is transferred from the master to the patient through the hands

Treats the body, emotions, mind and spirit and helps promote feelings of relaxation, peace, security and wellbeing

How Does It Work?

The energy flows through the body's meridians and unblocks areas of built up emotional energy

When the energy flows more normal the body’s problems go away
