SCAM ARTISTS have devised a malicious plan to get you to hand over bank details saying youve been subscribed to Amazon Primewithout your knowledge. I am sure many of you have received this telephone scam. The scam starts with an unexpected phone call message that claims you've just been charged for an Amazon Prime subscripon. You are told the payments can be cancelled if you press 1. Pressing 1 connects you to a premium rate number cosng you money. The fraudster answering purports to be a technology expert and aempts to gain access to your computer and bank details. Amazon confirms they will never call a customer for payments outside of their website. Also, the public have to subscribe to Amazon Primethemselves. If you receive a suspicious phone call claiming to be from Amazon please do not share any personal informaon, and disconnect immediately. Amazon Prime Phone Scam – Beware! SCAM ARTISTS have devised a malicious plan to get you to hand over bank details saying you’ve been subscribed to Amazon ‘Prime’ without your knowledge. I am sure many of you have received this telephone scam.

The scam starts with an unexpected phone call message that claims you've just been charged for an Amazon Prime subscription. You are told the payments can be cancelled if you press 1.
