About the Conference
National Conference on “Innovations in Animal Production for Sustainability and Doubling Farmers Income” aims to bring together the renowned scientists, researchers and research scholars to share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Livestock Production and Management. It also provides a national platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Livestock Production and Management.

About KVASU
Kerala Veterinary and Animal Sciences University (KVASU) was established in December 2010 as a full-fledged University, offers education, research and extension services in the field of Veterinary and Animal Sciences. The head quarter of the university is located in Pookot, Wayanad, in the State of Kerala, South India. College of Veterinary and Animal Sciences
Mannuthy is the largest campus of the KVASU with 1200 students pursuing their academic programmes in Ph.D., MVSc., MSc., PG Diploma, B.V.Sc. & A.H., B.Tech. in Dairy Science and Technology, Technically Enabled Programmes and Certificate Programmes. KVASU was awarded with the “Best Emerging University” in Kerala twice and established international collaborations with many leading universities around the world.
About the Venue
The term Thrissur is the abbreviated anglicized form of the Malayalam word 'THRISSIVAPERUR' which means the town of the “SACRED SIVA”. Thrissur is known as the cultural capital of Kerala and houses Kerala Kalamandalam, Sahitya Academy and the Sangeetha Nataka Academy. Call for PapersResearch papers are invited from all individuals on
the theme areas of the conference for oral and poster presentation. The last date for the submission of abstracts is
th5 January 2019. Abstracts can be submitted to the Organising Secretary in the E-mail: isapm2019@gmail. comGuidelines for submission of abstract1. Title of the paper (in title case) first line, full names of authors (in BLOCK letters) second line, location where the study was conducted (in title case italics) third line. If there are more than one institution where the study was carried out, indicate the same using a common superscript bearing the authors name and respective institution.2. The name of the author presenting the paper/poster at conference need to be underlined.3. Kindly indicate a separate line of e-mail address for correspondence.4 The text should be limited to 250 words highlighting the salient features of the work and typed in single space, one inch margin with font Times New Roman 12 font size.
Paper/Poster Presentation
The oral presentation should be in MS Power Point. Oral paper presenter will be given 5 min for presentation and 2 min for discussion. Number of slides should not be more than 10. The presenter should include only Title, Objectives, Methodology, Result and discussion in brief and Conclusions.
Thrissur is an important railhead of the Southern Railways and it is well connected by rail from all over India. Thrissur railway station and Mannuthy is well connected by bus services (6 km). The nearest airport, Cochin International Airport (CIAL) is at a distance of 50 km from Thrissur.
How to Reach
Peechi Dam, Snehatheeram Beech, Sakthanthampuran Palace, Archeological Museum, Punnathur kotta elephant camp and Guruvayur Sree Krishna Temple. The lush green ambience of backwaters of the nearby district Ernakulam (Cochin) and Aleppy with the mesmerizing houseboat rides are also major must-visit attractions for the visitors.
