Open invitation to all CSRA recreation football leagues in a jamboree format! Brackets will be starting at flag

football for 5-6 year olds, then 7-8 tackle, 9-10 tackle and 11-12 tackle. Spectators will see multiple

teams square off at one time as the field will be divided and play will be from both 40 yard lines to the nearest end zone. Teams will rotate from 15 minutes

of offense to 15 minutes on defense.

This event is intended to be a celebration of youth football, the life lessons it teaches and the

possibilities that can come from the game. This will be a time to participate in a community bonding experience full of fun, a guest DJ, educational resources covering

athletics and academics, player safety, a coaching clinic and an assortment of great food.

Each team shall complete the Rumble by the River Jamboree registration and release of liability form for registration

Each team shall have a binder containing Documentation of team player local registration with age, date of birth and player weight for ball carriers for

restricted play.(to be presented at sign-in booth / JYS will not retain but verify)

Each team designated as a Visiting Team shall provide its own chain crew

Head Coaches are Responsible for the conduct of their coaches, chain crew, players and players family's.

Gate Fees Shall be:4$ per adult

2$ per child 5+Individuals wearing Teal may enter at half of gate fee.

Schedule of Events

Jamboree Format and Rules:Teams should arrive at least 30‐45 minutes prior to your scheduled start time.

Team listed first in game chart is on OFFENSE first.

Each game is allotted a 40 yard field (regulation width with 1 end zone).  Every offensive series starts at the 35 yard line, facing towards the end zone.

Every game is timed using a 30 minute (flag 20 minute) "running clock with a HARD STOP" format. Example: Game starting @ 10am ends at 10:30am (even if game actually starts at 10:05am)  The game is stopped immediately following the end of the play when your designated game stop time occurs.  There is a 15 minute break between all games for teams to transition on/off the fields.  Please move quickly to your next field location so we can start subsequent games on time.

Each team has 15 minutes (flag 10min.) on OFFENSE and 15 MINUTES (flag 10 min.) on DEFENSE per game.  Down/distance is tracked for reference purpose only.  There is no position change if a 1st down is not achieved.  Offense keeps the ball regardless of touchdowns, fumbles, interceptions, loss of downs, etc. UNTIL your team's allotted time expires.

The football is placed at the point of positive / negative yards after each play with negative yards never back a team up beyondthe original starting point of 35 yard line.  There are no kickoffs or punts. Field goals and PAT'S are ok.

To ensure player safety no offensive player may carry the ball in flag football (ages 5‐6) that exceeds 70lbs, jr pee wee (ages 7‐8) over 100lbs, pee wee (9‐10) over 125lbs and midgets (11‐12) 145lbs.  Weight restrictions may be waived by coach agreement.  JYS will have teams from leagues without weight limits compete against one another or those who choose to play without limits.  Please note on the registration form “restricted” or “non‐restricted”

The intent of this preseason jamboree is to help coaches/players/refs prepare for the regular season by using a "game condition" format.  Game scores will not be tracked or posted.  Please remember sportsmanship and do not purposely embarrass another opponent.

- Each team member must be listed on this roster and must have his or her parent / guardian sign the waiver on the back of this form. No player shall be allowed to play without a signed waiver.

- FILL OUT THIS ROSTER FORM COMPLETELY! Incomplete roster forms will be returned and not considered registered. This is the official roster for JYS Sports host field. Please keep a copy for your records. All signatures must be on the same form.
