Enclosure-1 Rules and regulations of the competitions

1. ORAL PRESENTATION Ø The time limit for seminar competition is eight minutes. Ø

2. POSTER PRESENTATION Ø Participants will have to bring ready to hang poster on the given subject. Ø Size of the poster should be 1m X 1m. Ø Poster could be handmade or on flex board. Ø Participants should be ready with proper answers related to the content of

the poster.

3. SCIENTOON Ø Event will be conducted on spot the given subject. Ø Duration will be 1 hour and 30 minutes. Ø Participant will bring their own requirement.

4. EXTEMPORE SPEECH

Ø Topic would be given 5 minutes prior to speech. Ø Topics would be a subtopic from the listed topics in brochure. Ø Student will have to speak for 3-5 minutes as maximum time limit. Ø Only BSc SEM 6 and PG students will participate in this competition.

5. BIO-QUIZ

Ø If more team participates in bio-quiz, then there will be screening round. Ø Based on Life Sciences Ø 2 students per team/one team per college Ø Questions covering various areas of Biotechnology and interdisciplinary

areas (Questions will be SQ/MCQ/ Picture Quiz) Ø The questions will be of general nature and shall cover various like,
