• You will need to choose one of the four regions, and decorate a plate with hand-drawn pictures and symbols that represents the information of the region you chose.

• You will need to include pictures/symbols describing the:– Economy – types of jobs, resources, development, etc.– Major Cities – landmarks, what they’re known for, major industries– Government – laws, capitals, procedures– Physical Geography – rivers, landforms, climate, vegetation– Culture – traditions, religion, beliefs, customs, festivals– Other interesting facts – anything else you find interesting

• You will also need to include the following on the plate:– a meaningful and unique border (representing China and the region you decided

on)– the name of the region you chose– an original and meaningful slogan for your region– neatness and creativity

• Write your name and class period on the back of the paper plate
