Regional science and regional economics innovativeresearch award papers
Some time ago, Regional Science and Urban Economics invited youngeconomists who had recently earned their Ph.D. to submit a paper on theoretical orempirical topics in regional and urban economics. The submitted papers wereevaluated by a jury consisting of Masahisa Fujita, Elhanan Helpman, JamesFriedman, and the editors of this journal. The first three papers of this issue were
1awarded first and second prize, and honorable mention, respectively. RSUEproudly presents the papers of these prize winners.
