W&R Regional Coordinator

Job Summary:

Coordinate skills development initiatives between W&RSETA; TVET Colleges and regional Stakeholders. These positions are available in every Province. This is a 12 months fixed term contract.

Duties and Responsibilities: will include but not limited to:

Provide weekly report updates to the Regional Manager/Team Leader Strengthen SETA/College Partnerships Prepare all project reports and grant claim documentation Design and develop relevant processes and tools towards efficient administration systems Conduct site visits to stakeholders for learner verification and monitoring Coordinate and manage Skills Facilitators placed at colleges and SETA offices Bring on board non-participating retail companies Be a link between Qualifications and Quality Assurance Unit and the College in assisting with the

facilitation of extension of scope Assist with the capacitation of Lecturers at various workplaces Provide support towards establishment of Practicum Rooms within each campus Career Guidance within the TVET College and the general retail sector Support Graduate Placements & Internships Responsible for Annexure 2 submissions and approvals Ensure SMME participation in skills development initiatives and projects Bursaries – Information sharing and support to beneficiaries Increased partnerships and collaboration between TVET’s, retailers and learners Participate in the performance management system Perform any other duties and responsibilities that may be requested from time to time.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes: Thorough understanding of W&RSETA processes for learning programmes Annexure 2

submissions (including NSDS & New Grants Regulations) Computer Literacy (Proficient in Ms Word, Ms Excel, Ms PowerPoint & Ms Project) Excellent Report Writing Skills & Presentation Skills Innovative & Creativity Skills Excellent Communication & interpersonal Skills High Energy Levels and attention to detail Ability to establish and maintain stakeholder relations

Minimum Qualification and Experience: Relevant tertiary qualification at NQF Level 6 3 – 5 years related project management experience People Management experience and skills

Special Requirements: Own transport & valid driver’s license Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the Region.
