• Have more than one person in a position for backup – if possible
• Advertise, Advertise, Advertise
• Proper planning will produce a good event with good attendance
• Periodic reminders about attendance at ExCom meetings
Goals for Next Year• Participate in National Engineers Week• Increase Senior Membership by 1% of current
membership• More interaction with student chapters• Increase chapter participation at ExCom Meetings• Hold more joint Section/Chapter meetings• Promote use of Section website for activities and
information by Chapters and Section• Expand Awards• Have people wanting to hold office• Better marketing of benefits for holding office
