NOTICE REGARDING BITT DIGITAL WHATSAPP GROUP (BITT DIGITAL

CLASSROOM) UPDATED ACADEMIC CALENDER All students of 2

nd, 4

th and 6

th semesters are hereby informed that online classes have commenced from 01/08/2020 in accordance

with the guidelines of AICTE and Jharkhand University of Technology.

The Academic calendar will also be posted in the WhatsApp Group created for each semester & branch. With taking the feedback/ Observations/ Suggestions and Grievances from the students, it will be noted that the class will run

regularly for completing the syllabus portion on time. This time 4 different online teaching resources have been included along with

Digital Smart Class which are as following:-

Interactive Board Class

Green Board Class

White Board Class

Stand Board Class

Webcam Class. & for the practical classes will be conducted using Live Lab Class (Webcam).

It should be noted that Jharkhand Govt., in its letter (dated 01.06.2020), has directed all Polytechnic institutes to conduct online classes

during the period of lockdown due to Covid-19 pandemic. The method of conducting online classes will be decided by respective colleges.

BITT Polytechnic has decided to conduct online classes primarily through WhatsApp (by BITT Digital Classroom creating section wise

Digital BITT WhatsApp groups)where in lecture will be delivered through combination of audio, video, printed materials and

interactive communication (through message) therein. As and where found necessary, lectures will also be delivered by the faculty

through live interactive video platform. So it is being advised to all students to attend all online classes in pursuance of the directives

of JUT, AICTE, UGC and Jharkhand Govt.

2. Note:-

1. The college has prepared the tentative academic calendar till 31st August, 2020. The

academic calendar can be revised/ extended on further receiving of any notification from

the Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT). Accordingly, the online classes may

continue after June, 2020 also.

2. Dates for Internal, External Examinations and End Semester examination form filling

shall be announced as per the notification/s received from JUT. Students will be duly

notified as soon as the notification is received from JUT.

3. Modification/s in methods of online class may be undertaken as per the guidelines/

directives of AICTE/ UGC/ JUT/ Jharkhand Govt.

4. Apart from the online methods of teaching currently adopted by the college, if at any

time the college feels that further improvement is necessary, then the college will

continue to do so.

It is to be noted that the college is following the guidelines of AICTE, Jharkhand University of Technology.

Jharkhand Govt, vide its letter dated 01.06.2020, has directed all Polytechnic institutes to conduct online

classes during the period of lockdown due to Covid 19 pandemic. The method of conducting online classes will

be decided by respective colleges. BITT Polytechnic has decided to conduct online classes primarily through

WhatsApp (by BITT Digital Classroom creating section wise Digital BITT WhatsApp groups) where in lecture will

be delivered through combination of audio, video, printed materials and interactive communication (through

message) therein. As and where found necessary, lectures will also be delivered by the faculty through live

interactive video platform. So it is being advised to all students to attend all online classes in pursuance of the

directives of JUT, AICTE, UGC and Jharkhand Govt.

Note: The Webinar is conducted as per the availability of the Guest Speakers. It may be cancelled/

rescheduled/ postponed due to certain technical issues or unavailability of the Guest Speakers.

Therefore the participants / students/ parents/ faculty members should kindly be prepared for the

same.
