ABOUT IAGOD
ABOUT ADELAIDE
The objective of the International Association on the Genesis of Ore Deposits (I.A.G.O.D.) is to promote
international co‐operation in the study of the genesis of ore deposits and to further the growth of
knowledge in this field. These tasks are achieved in several ways. International symposia are organized
by IAGOD, and a variety of meetings and symposia are held in conjunction with other organisations
interested in the genesis of mineral deposits. The association continues to expand its international
activities and membership, having members in about 70 countries world‐wide.

ABSTRACT SUBMISSIONS
The IAGOD 2010 Symposium Organising Committee invites you to submit abstracts for consideration in the Symposium program.
Lodgement of an abstract does not mean automatic inclusion in the Symposium program.
Abstracts must be submitted by Friday 29th January 2010 for consideration. Presenters will be advised in late February 2010 if and
by what mode of presentation their paper is accepted. If you submit more than one abstract, please seriously consider whether
you will be submitting papers for all the abstracts that you have submitted. The Symposium Organising Committee will be using
these abstracts to organise the contributed paper sessions. Contributed paper presentation slots are limited. Please indicate if you
would prefer to submit a poster option. Final assignment of oral or poster presentations will be at the discretion of the Local
Organising Committee.
To submit an abstract or for information regarding abstract guidelines and instructions, please visit the Call for Abstracts page on
