machinery.Diesel oil for generators and heating units,

Lubrication oils and greases, Batteries with

Refueling operations

Fuelling facilities shall be constructed with ahard standing area with drains to a collectiontank to collect any spillage.

Drip trays and / or absorbent pads shall beplaced beneath any potential spill pointbefore refueling begins.

Soiled absorbent pads, contaminated soils

and Oil Spillage Procedure. other materialsshall be treated as indicated in the oil spillageprocedure.

This procedure applies to areas where

fuel and refueling actiities are carried

out during Pro!ect actiities.

The purpose of this procedure is to

ensure that all refilling actiities are

conducted with minimum risks to

personnel andenironment.

Prior to all mobile fuelling actiities the

fuel tanker must be earthed to ground by

means of grounding rod or by placing an

earth wire between the fuelling ehicleand the unit being fuelled.

switched off or placed within the fueltanker cab with both windows and doors

closed.
