We are glad to inform you that the Kovai Sahodaya Inter School Carrom Tournament 2019-20 will be hosted by Sri Venkateshwara International Senior Secondary School (CBSE) on 4thJanuary 2020(Saturday). Your school’s participation is highly solicited to make the event a grand success. You are requested to register online with the School Login ID in the KSSC Website by 4:30pm on Monday, 30thDecember 2019.

Categories & Eligibility

Age Group:

The following age groups are eligible to take part in the tournament

U-12, U-14, U-16 & U-19 for Boys and Girls.

A player can participate only in one category. Under 12 years Boys and Girls : Born on or after 01.01.2008

Under 14 years Boys and Girls : Born on or after 01.01.2006

Under 17 years Boys and Girls : Born on or after 01.01.2003

Under 19 years Boys and Girls : Born on or after 01.01.2001

General Instructions:

• Spot entry and late entry will not be entertained.

• The participating schools should bring the following documents when they report.

i. Online printed copy of the entry form attested by the principal.

ii. Bonafide certificate duly attested by the principal.

iii. Photocopy of Birth certificate / Aadhaar card

• Food for the participants may be availed on payment.

Breakfast @ Rs.50/- Lunch @ Rs.70/-

• The tournament will be conducted continuously without break till it gets over.

• Each school may send a team of 2 participants for doubles and a participant for singles.

Singles player can play the doubles too.

• Match is decided on the basis of best of 3 boards & points system.

• No substitution players for singles and doubles will be allowed.

• International carom rule- “THUMBING”- will be followed.

• All the participants must bring their own striker.
