AUTOMATIC ICE MAKER

AUTOMATIC ICE MAKERThe Connoisseur Collection features a non-plumbed Automatic

Ice Maker. As there is no separate plumbing connection

required, this cost effective approach to automatic ice making

means the fridge can be placed anywhere in the kitchen, not

just near existing pipe work. Simply fill the removable water

tank and the Ice Maker is ready to go!

REMOVABLE WATER TANKThe water tank, located in the bottom of the Refrigeration Compartment, saves significantly

more space in comparison to side-by-side refrigerators, which typically have ice makers

integrated in the door design and compromise on available depth. The water tank is easily

removed, cleaned and refilled at the kitchen sink without the hassle and additional cost

of plumbing the refrigerator into the water supply. This allows bottled mineral water to be

used also.

EASY CLEAN SYSTEMThe water supply system is easy to clean; removable water tank components just need to

be flushed periodically with water to maintain optimum performance. Rubber components

are treated with an anti-bacterial coating.

WATER PURIFICATION (E62)Most automatic ice makers require filters to be replaced every 3-6 months and can be a

costly exercise. Water in the E62 Refrigerator tank is purified through a V-LED lamp and

lead cleaning filter which removes impurities, bacteria and chlorine to ensure fresh, clean

tasting Ice for up to 10 years without needing to replace the filter.

THE ICE DRAWER (E62)The separate Ice Drawer ensures ice cubes stay odour free, preventing absorption of

lingering food odours that may be present.

VERSA DRAWERThe Versa Drawer offers the ultimate functionality

in preserving food quality without losing moisture

and taste, making storage more convenient and

preparation a breeze even while food is still frozen.

The Versa Drawer has five modes, and when

additional storage capacity is required it can also

be utilised for standard freezing.

HOT FREEZINGThe LED Sensor and Twin Dampers are designed specifically to make it possible to place

hot food into the freezer. The LED Sensor detects hot food and adjusts the cold air flow

directly onto the hot food from the separate air outlet for added convenience, time saving

and to preserve the quality and freshness of the food.

POWER STORAGEThe LED Sensor automatically controls the temperature of stored food, preventing frost

and discoloration due to temperature differences within the freezer whilst preserving the

freshness and taste of your food.

SOFT FREEZINGSoft Freezing allows food to be frozen for up to three weeks in a ‘soft’ state. This means

meat can be easily cut without thawing. Pasta sauces can be stored frozen but kept soft

enough to scoop out portions, this is also ideal for left over dips and baby foods.

QUICK FREEZEUsing the Quick Freeze function, food is snap frozen with only small ice crystals formed.

This locks in the flavour and preserves the original taste of food items.

SUPERCOOL FUNCTIONIn conventional freezers, once sub-zero temperatures are reached the process of freezing

slowly takes place from the surface inwards. Moisture in the food can cause the formation

of needle-like ice crystals, resulting in food’s texture and moisture being lost.

Supercool mode minimizes cell destruction of the food, locking in moisture, taste and

quality. Food is kept in its current state past normal freezing point, then blasted with

cool air to start the freezing process instantly, which ensures the food is evenly frozen.

Continuing the freezing process from this point, only the finest ice crystals are able to form.

provides ideal surroundings with a higher humidity than the main refrigerator compartment,

SLIDING TOP TRAY (E62)The Humidity Drawer is divided by a Sliding Tray at the top that can be pushed back to

reveal the rest of the drawer. The top tray is ideal for storage and organisation of smaller

items such as fruit.

VITAMIN FACTORY (E62)The unique Vitamin Factory LED lighting system is designed to slow down the wilting

process of produce and maintain the original vitamin and anti-oxidant levels for longer.

Vegetables and fruit stored in the specially designed Humidity Drawer with integrated

Vitamin Factory LED System will last significantly longer in comparison to conventional

vegetable crisper bins.

FREEZER DRAWER

THE FREEZER DRAWER The Freezer Drawer is divided by a Sliding Tray at the top that can be pushed back to

reveal the rest of the freezer drawer. The Freezer Drawer is roomy enough to fit bulky items

such as ice cream tubs, loaves of bread and frozen vegetables. The top tray is ideal for

storage and organisation of flat pack items such as meat packs.

QUICK FREEZE FUNCTION (E62) When food is frozen its water content becomes ice, destroying food cells and impacting on

the taste. Using the Quick Freeze function, food is snap frozen with only small ice crystals

formed. This locks in the flavour and preserves the original taste of food items.

The Bottom Mount AdvantageMitsubishi Electric has recognised the growing popularity of bottom mounted freezers and expanded this range

to include three models. The Freezer Drawer on these models is generously proportioned, with 105 litres of
