Richard Anderson, President & CEO, Amtrak
The Amtrak® Board of Directors appointed Richard Anderson president and
chief executive officer effective July 12, 2017. Before coming to Amtrak,
Anderson spent 25 years in the aviation industry, most recently as executive
chairman of the Delta Air Lines board of directors. He previously served as the
airline’s CEO from 2007 to 2016.
Anderson is passionate about building strong businesses that create the best
experiences possible for their customers. Before leading Delta, Anderson served as executive vice
president at United Healthcare from 2004 to 2007, and as CEO of Northwest Airlines from 2001 to
2004. Anderson began his career in the aviation industry in 1987, when he joined the legal division
at Continental Airlines. Previously, he served as a Harris County, Texas, assistant district attorney
and chief counsel to the Harris County Criminal Courts at Law.
During Anderson’s time as Delta Air Lines, CEO, the company earned designation as the “2014
Airline of the Year” by Air Transport World magazine, and was one of FORTUNE magazine’s “50
Most Admired Companies.” Anderson also ranked one of the “World’s Best CEOs” by Barron’s
magazine and placed among the “Top 25 Most Influential Industry Executives” by Business Travel
News. Anderson earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Houston – Clear Lake and a juris
doctorate from the South Texas College of Law.
Chris Granger, Group President, Sports & Entertainment, Ilitch Holdings, Inc.
As a highly experienced sports and entertainment executive, Chris Granger
optimizes the fan and partner experiences at all Ilitch-related venues. He also
grows, recruits and retains the significant talent associated with the business
side of the company’s sports and entertainment organizations, and
collaborates with partners to keep all venues active, attractive and
community-focused.
Granger previously served as president of the Sacramento Kings and Sacramento Basketball
Holdings, LLC. During his tenure, the Kings enjoyed unprecedented revenue growth and were
widely recognized as an innovative and community-minded franchise. Granger’s influence also
extended to the development of Sacramento’s new, award-winning Golden 1 Center and its 1.5
million square-foot downtown mixed-use development project, Downtown Commons.
Before joining the Kings, Granger spent 14 years with the NBA, working in various capacities. He
most recently served as executive vice president of the NBA’s renowned team marketing and
business operations function, where he advised NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League
teams on all aspects of their business operations.
Granger received his bachelor’s degree from Cornell University and his MBA from Yale. He was
Sacramento Business Person of the Year in 2017, and was a 2010 Sports Business Journal Forty
Under 40 award winner.
Ron E. Hall Jr., President & CEO, Bridgewater Interiors, LLC
Ron Hall Jr. has assumed various roles of increasing responsibility with Bridgewater
Interiors since 2007, succeeding his father (company founder Ron Hall Sr.) in 2015.
Bridgewater is an automotive interiors manufacturing firm, specializing in just-in-
time manufacturing, sequencing, and delivery of seating systems. It employs more
than 2,100 people at four facilities in the U.S.
Prior to his current role, Hall served as Bridgewater’s vice president and general
counsel from 2010 through 2015. Previously, he was responsible for the company’s commercial
management—first for its largest customer, and later for all customers.
Hall began his professional life as a soldier. He holds a B.S. from the United States Military Academy at
West Point, NY, and served several years on active duty as a field artillery officer in the U.S. Army. He
attained the rank of captain and was decorated for meritorious service in the Persian Gulf War.
Hall went on to earn his juris doctorate degree—along with many academic honors—at the University
of Michigan Law School, and then spent the first portion of his civilian career as a Detroit-based
associate attorney at Dykema, PLLC, where he practiced in the corporate transactions group.
John Hendrickson, CEO, C&H Solutions LLC and former CEO, Perrigo
As president of C&H Solutions LLC, John Hendrickson continues a career that
earned him a lifetime achievement award from the U.S. Consumer Healthcare
Products Association in 2018.
Before joining C&H, Hendrickson served as chief executive officer and president
of Perrigo Corporation, a global pharmaceutical company with a prescription
and consumer health care focus. As CEO, he assumed responsibility for the
corporation during a turn-around period after the exit of the previous CEO & chair. He
successfully exited over 15 non-core businesses, improved the company’s strategic focus and
execution, strengthened the balance sheet and returned the company to an EPS growth platform.
From 2015–2016, Hendrickson also led Perrigo’s transformation to an Irish headquarters and
platform with processes supporting all global business operating in over 50 countries. He also
served in various senior leadership roles from 1989–2015, with direct global responsibility for all
operations including over $2.5 billion in purchases, 31 production sites (65 percent outside the
U.S.), 10,000 employees, sales fulfillment and logistics, and all capital spending of the corporation.
Hendrickson holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame, the University of Michigan and
Hope College.

Lara Latham, Vice President, Healthcare Systems, Stryker
Lara Latham is the vice president of healthcare systems for Stryker’s
MedSurg & Neurotechnology Groups, with responsibility for strategic
account management within the group purchasing (GPO), health system
and government segments. With an objective to build long-term, sustainable
relationships, the team is focused on exploring innovative partnerships that
deliver clinical, operational and financial value to some of the largest health
care systems in the U.S.
Latham’s 20 years in health care include a variety of management and leadership roles at
Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago and as a member of the Healthcare Consulting
practice at Ernst & Young, where she was part of teams focused on IDN strategy and hospital
operational improvement.
Latham serves on the board of the Kalamazoo YWCA, whose mission is to empower women and
eliminate racism. She earned her B.A. in biological sciences from Northwestern University and her
master of public health degree from The George Washington University.
Daniel J. Loepp, President & CEO, Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan
As president and CEO of Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan, Daniel Loepp has
played a major role in modernizing Michigan’s health care delivery system. He
oversaw the transformation of Blue Cross to a nonprofit mutual insurance
company in January 2014, and has led initiatives to improve health care quality
and affordability—resulting in more than $1.4 billion of savings through nationally-
recognized performance-driven programs.
Under Loepp’s leadership, Blue Cross remains committed to its long-standing nonprofit mission.
During his tenure, BCBSM has been named Corporation of the Year in Finance and Insurance
Services 10 times by the Michigan Minority Supplier Development Council, and one of the top 10
Regional Companies for diversity by DiversityInc Magazine. Blue Cross also has led efforts to
revitalize and strengthen core Michigan cities.
Loepp joined Blue Cross in 2000. In 2011, 2012 and 2013, he served as board chair of the Blue Cross
and Blue Shield Association (BCBSA), and continues to serve on the BCBSA board. He is the chair of
the BCS Financial Corporation board. He also serves on the board of America’s Health Insurance
Plans and the National Institute for Health Care Management. He also is a member of many
statewide and regional nonprofit boards.
Ben C. Maibach III, Vice Chairman & Chief Community Officer, Barton Malow Company
Ben Maibach is a lifelong Michigan resident and ardent community champion.
He earned a degree in civil engineering from Michigan State University, with
continuing education at Wayne State University, Massachusetts Institute of
Technology and Harvard University. He began his employment at Barton Malow in
1964 as a laborer and rose through the ranks to become chairman and CEO. He is
currently vice chairman and chief community officer.
During Maibach’s tenure, Barton Malow grew from a single Michigan office to a national construction
enterprise with many offices and specialties in energy, health, education, sports facilities, and
industrial construction. Barton Malow ranks among the leading contractors in the country. The
company has won awards for excellence and innovation in construction, technology, safety, and
diversity.
Maibach has been widely honored for distinguished community service, thanks to his service on
several boards and his extensive involvement with charitable, civic, professional and educational
activities. He has received many accolades, including recognition from the Engineering Society of
Detroit, the Michigan Construction Hall of Fame, Michigan State University, the Boy Scouts of
America, and WJR.
Julia Oswald, Senior VP, Business Insights, Strategy & Consumer Insights, Domino’s
Julia Oswald leads all research and insights platforms supporting most areas within
the Domino’s business. She joined the company in 2009.
Some of the significant initiatives with which Oswald has been involved include
media mix modeling, proprietary offer testing to guide marketing campaigns
and optimize dollar spend, and leading strategy for Domino’s store development
task force.
Oswald is a huge advocate of leveraging data and insight to make better business decisions. She
brings the passion for data to each initiative, and has built an impressive team to build deeper
understandings and provide actionable recommendations for the organization.
Before joining Domino’s, Oswald had a long career in strategy and insights, including PepsiCo for nine

Patti Poppe, President & CEO, CMS Energy & Consumers Energy
Patti Poppe is president and CEO of Jackson, Michigan-based CMS Energy and its
principal subsidiary, Consumers Energy, which ranks as Michigan’s largest utility and
the nation’s fourth largest combination utility. Consumers Energy provides
electricity and natural gas to 6.7 million of Michigan’s 10 million lower peninsula
residents.
As president and CEO, Poppe has focused on connecting the company more
closely with its customers and adapting lean operating system principles throughout the utility.
Before she was elected to her current role in July 2016, Poppe held a variety of automotive
management positions. She served as power plant director at Detroit, Michigan-based DTE Energy
before returning to her hometown of Jackson to join Consumers Energy in 2011.
Poppe earned a master’s degree in management from the Stanford University Graduate School of
Business and received a bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in industrial engineering from Purdue
University.
Brian Pugh, Director, Digital User Experience, Meijer
In his role as director of digital user experience at Meijer Inc., Brian Pugh leads
teams responsible for creating seamless store and digital experiences that build
deeper relationships with its customers. He loves to connect customers with great
experiences.
Pugh and his team have played key roles in driving new forms of customer
engagement through the digital and mobile technologies that operate within the
retailer’s loyalty & personalization initiatives.
Pugh began his 13+ year career in retail by creating behavior-based customer targeted marketing
campaigns. He earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Western Michigan University.

Brig Sorber, Executive Chairman, Two Men And A Truck®/International, Inc.
Brig Sorber is the executive chairman of Two Men And A Truck®/International, Inc.,
based in Lansing, Michigan. He also is one of the original “two men” along with his
younger brother.
Upon graduation from college, Sorber operated his own Two Men And A Truck
franchise in Marquette, Michigan. In September 1996, he sold their franchise to
come home to Lansing and help restructure the Two Men And A Truck system.
Sorber worked his way up to president and chief executive officer, while rebuilding the infrastructure
of the Two Men And A Truck system. He attributes the system’s success to its foundation of honesty,
trust, and hard work. He feels his experience as a mover, driver, and a franchisee helps him to make
well-educated decisions that benefit the entire Two Men And A Truck system.
A frequent speaker and lecturer, Sorber has been a guest instructor for the Institute for Biblical
Business and Entrepreneurship. He was an active member of the Detroit Chapter of the Young
Presidents’ Organization for six years.
Sorber was awarded the 2008 Alumni Award by the Okemos Education Foundation. He is a graduate
of Northern Michigan University, where he earned the 2010 Distinguished Alumni Award.
Robert S. Taubman, Chairman, President & CEO, Taubman Centers, Inc.
Robert S. Taubman has headed the company his father founded and served on the
Taubman Centers board of directors since the company's initial public offering in
1992. He is a member of Taubman Centers’ operating committee. After joining
Taubman in 1976, he was elected executive vice president in 1984, chief operating
officer in 1988, president and chief executive officer in 1990 and chair in 2001.
Taubman has leadership roles in the National Association of Real Estate Investment
Trusts (NAREIT), the Real Estate Roundtable, the Urban Land Institute (ULI), and ULI’s Detroit
Regional District Council. He also is a member and past trustee of the International Council of
Shopping Centers (ICSC).
Among his many civic and charitable commitments, Taubman serves on the executive committee of
Southeastern Michigan Council of Governments (SEMCOG) and is a member of the board of directors
of Business Leaders for Michigan. He is a trustee of the Cranbrook Educational Community, where he
is chairman of the audit committee. He serves on the University of Michigan Investment Advisory
Committee and is a council member of the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs,
Harvard Kennedy Schools. Taubman holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Boston University.
