Strengths of the lessonPupils were very excited to recite the
Miss Antrobus poem with action. Some of them were able to guess the
meaning of the rhymes word. Plus, I realized that during the
presentation stage which was changing the poem into a song, they
were able to do the task on time. This showed that my instructional
languages were comprehensible as they could easily understand what
they should do. Moreover, I realized that, the girls in the class
were very excited throughout the activities. As for the production
stage, pupils were able to create their own hybrid pets and
described their pets based on the questions given. All in all, the
objectives were achieved successfully.Weaknesses of the lessonI
still have problem in managing the time wisely. This may due to the
extra time that I spent in certain stages such as presentation and
practice. As a result, I dont have enough time to conduct the last
activity at the closure stage.Suggestions for improvement I should
check the time spent for each stage in order to prevent myself from
spending more time in certain stages. Plus, in order to get the
girls involve actively during the lesson, I should conduct more
interactive yet fun activity in the next lesson.
