We took out our media equipment two times, both on different days, travelled to our locations only to find out that the equipment wasn’t working. The first time, we couldn’t put the camera onto the fig rig, we tried everything. We loosened the fig rig but the camera just won’t go on. Next, we tried to hand hold it and film that way, so we proceeded to insert the memory cards into the camera, and guess what? They weren’t working. In fact, we deleted all of our footage from the memory cards and uploaded everything on our video drive, however when we inserted the memory card it said ‘Insufficient space’. And then, the craziest thing happened. It started pouring down with rain, so everything that could go wrong on that day, went wrong.

Reflection

The second time we tried taking out the equipment, I was getting ready at home and ready to leave the house when I received a message from Esther that again there was insufficient space when we tried inserting the memory cards in the camera. So I was ready and about to leave for no reason.

That’s also one of the reasons we have have been slacking on the blogs, and that was our mistake and we apologise for that.Since we’re editing our footage at the moment, we are making sure to blog constantly, up until the final deadline.
