Carola Massardi worked on Fairfood International's CSR Project for a period of approximately 12

months (from Moy 2073 to April 20141. Having managed Miss Massardi directly for this entire

period, I can confidently recommend her as a dedicated and highly knowledgeable professional in

the domain of Corporate Social Responsibil i ty (CSR).

Throughout the whole time of working on the project Miss Massardi has demonstrated a

uniquely hard-working attitude and enthusiasm. These qualit ies together with her knowledge and

passion for social responsibil i ty issues have undoubtedly made her an irreplaceable asset to the

team.

Throughout the cycle of the project, Miss Massardi has largely contributed to various parts of the

project. She rapidly became deeply knowledgeable of ISO 26000 CSR guideline and soon coached

other team members on best uses of this standard. Her knowledge of ISO 25000 further

deepened when the project stepped into the phase of CSR baseline analysis, stakeholder

engagement and 'best csr practices' research. Firstly, Miss Massardi significantly contributed to

performing an internal CSR baseline analysis, focusing on various aspects of Fairfood's formal and

informal CSR practices and comparing them to the standards outl ined in the ISO 26000. Later,

Miss Massardi actively participated in developing internal (employeesJ and external stakeholder

CSR engagement trajectories (globol citizens, portners ond donors). Simultaneously, Miss

Massardi conducted research on best CSR practices, diving into other organisations' social

responsibil i ty habits and by doing so demonstrating a general benchmark in practicing social

responsibil i ty. Furthermore, during the project Miss Massardi had a chance to uti l ise her

thorough knowledge of GRI guidelines for CSR. This led to her excellent proposal of a tailored

framework that will guide Fairfood's CSR reporting.

The quality of Miss Massardi's work has been consistently high and outstanding. This has largely

to do with her skil ls, personal qualit ies and work ethic. Apart from her analytical reasoning and

research skills, her ability and eagerness to constantly expand her knowledge of CSR certainly

showed her quick formation into a real CSR professional. Moreover, Miss Massardi's proactive

attitude toward work and wil l ingness to go an extra mile has certainly made her a very

inspirational person to work with. She also has a fascinating abil ity to combine structured attitude

with flexible approach and out-of-box thinking. With her constructive critical approach she often

challenged the team to seek more effective solutions and also contributed with proposing various

innovative solutions at different stages within the project.

Having worked with Miss Massardifor quite a long while, a few additional qualit ies stood out for

me that I found extremely valuable: Miss Massardi is highly reliable and trustworthy. Moreover,

she has an international mindset openly embracing people with different cultural backgrounds.
