I am writing this letter as a reference for Jay LaPlante. During his time with Lock Search Group Jay was

an outstanding employee. When I interviewed and eventually hired Jay I was highly impressed by his

professionalism, energy, sales aptitude, leadership experience, and overall business acumen. During his

time at Lock, Jay certainly lived up to all of those expectations and more. Jay has a ferocious work ethic,

he is action oriented, he is highly organized, has great customer relationship skills, and is a collaborative

and team oriented employee. Jay has a great understanding about what activities are required to be

successful and focusing on carrying out those activities to a high level. Jay’s quality of work was always

at a high level and is extremely coachable and always looking for ways to improve his performance.

Jay is certainly an asset to any team and if it were not for recent economic challenges in the industry Jay

would still be a team member. I would highly recommend Jay for any role but certainly his strengths lie

around sales and clients as well as leadership.
