Reedley Battled Against College of the Sequoias in Volleyball Cherie Smith Sports Reporter/Sports Editor Reedley College Volleyball played three teams in a week span. They went 0-2 in the Fresno City Crossover Tourney. Then they started Central Valley Conference play at College of the Sequoias going five sets, but did not come away with a win. Tigers Volleyball competed in the Fresno City Crossover Tourney on Friday, September 14, going 0-2. Reedley lost to Santa Rosa College, 3-0 (35-9, 25-14, 25-9). Then they played Sierra College, losing 3-0 (25-10, 25-12, 25-19). Reedley played their first conference match on Wednesday, September 20 at College of the Sequoias in Visalia. The match went to five sets, with COS winning (15-25, 25-23, 14-25, the other scores were unavailable). Reedley won the first and third sets. They started off strong, but were not able to finish. On Wednesday, September 26, Reedley College goes to Porterville to play Porterville College at 6:00 p.m. The Tigers come home on Friday, September 28, to play Columbia College at 6:00 p.m.
