Supplies we used

1. Roller blade wheels2. Two bolts3. One nut4. One large reed switch5. Coil6. Copper wire7. Hot Glue8. Four Magnets9. Wood

How we made it

1. First we attached the wheels to a piece of wood to use as bearings.

2. Next we attached the magnets to the bearings so it would spin

3. Then we added the coils (which are wrapped around a screw) and reed switch (which is glued to a piece of wood) The coils and switch are on opposite ends

How it works

• The reed switch motor works by having magnets spinning freely. On one side is a reed switch, on the other side connected to the reed switch is some coil.

• The coil/ reed switch are attached to a battery.

• The reed switch times the revolutions of the magnet and the coil push the magnets up to finish the rotation.
