What are Infrared Waves?
How is it possible that the sun‘s heat travels millions ofkilometers through the deep cold space and stillwarms us here on earth? This phenomenon is madepossible through electromagnetic waves which lie justunder the visible range of light (lat. infra). Theseelectromagnetic waves cause molecules to oscillateand free up energy, which is perceived by humans aswarmth.
This is how Infrared feelsAn example from nature proves it: Skiers andmountain climbers do not freeze even if theyare in extremely cold air.
The reason - they are surrounded by warminfrared waves, which come directly from thesun or are reflected by the environment(snow, stones, earth etc.).

Dry the masonry, or keep it dry. This resultsin a reduction of thermal conductivity andof energy costs.
Lower the room temperature by about 2 C.That means less transport of warmththrough the room exterior, due to thesmaller difference in air temperature. Lessloss of energy through air exchange(ventilation cracks, etc.).
1 C less means an energy savings of app. 5%. This means that by 2 C less, there is a savingof app. 10%.
