1.0 INTRODUCTION

Sometimes long PowerPoint can be best uploaded as a .pdf instead. If your file contains a large

amount of graphics and design elements, sometimes the files may become larger than the

maximum file size specified by the PutraBLAST.

In collective effort to keep the storage and speed requirements of Moodle sustainable, please

commit a general practice of reducing the file sizes of documents, .pdfs and presentation to

ensure the files can be uploaded to PutraBLAST.

Below are the steps to reduce the size of your PowerPoint files in .pdf form

1. Go to the File menu

2. Select Save As

3. Change Save as type to .pdf

4. Change the radio dial from the Standard to Minimum size (publishing online)

5. Click Save and upload the files in PutraBLAST. You’re done!
