Typical plant accidents are collisions with fire doors or safety bollards. Damage can also be caused by external factors such as other forklifts.In both cases the patented dual Crash Sensor triggers an alarm, slows the vehicle down or blocks the vehicle. The message is transmitted via WiFi to the central computer in the Fleet Manager’s Office. The Manager can then authorise a specially appointed person to inspect the vehicle.After a final performance check he can release the forklift for further use or arrange for the repair of the damaged machine-ry or peripherals.

Function

Mobile Easykey is an electronic system, using transponder tech-nology, for contactless activation and registration of vehicle users and machinery.

Employees are thereby given an electronic key (transponder), which authorises them to use certain vehicles and machines.Already existing transponder sys-tems can be integrated. (Page 4)Besides authorisation, to drive a vehicle or to use the machines, various activities and events can also be recorded.

Transponder

The transponder is the electronic key which facilitates the activation of a vehicle or a machine.The transponder works without batteries – optionally as a cheque card or a key ring.

Each transponder bears a distinct number that is transmittedcontactless by remote control to the hybrids. If the transponder is included in the list of access authorisations, the programmed action is triggered – for example: a vehicle or a machine is activated or a door is opened. To provide the greatest level of security, each transponder can be limited with a time expiry date.

Crash Sensors

The patented dual system records accidents through an acceleration sensor and a body sound microphone. Accidents are reported via a ‘flashing display’, audible alarm and/or system prompt. The device is switched off or the speed is reduced.

crash+ is delivered with prede-fined settings, which are based on long term experiences and can be matched individually on the sensor.

crash+remote collects informa-tion during a programming run. The settings are easily carried out via the Mobi-le Easykey software.

Hybrid

The Hybrid stores 65.000 file entries (for events like: log in, energy supply, crash, etc.) and up to 5.000 individual users.

Usage of other transpondersIn general any transponder, other than Mobile Easykey must be checked for its compatibility with the Mobile Easykey systems! Additional costs for the purchase of Mobile Easykey modules may occur.

The utilisation of the fleet can be analysed for the entire company or for a single unit only.

The statistics module of the Mo-bile Easykey Software delivers all relevant data for the optimisation of the vehicle fleet.

The export of data (e.g. into Excel) is easily possible.

Newly available are comprehensive, pre-defined reports. Thus, for example the driving permissions for employees or the battery charging behaviour, can be accessed by the push of a button.

The software has more than 20 pre-defined reports which can be customised. Of course you can create your own reports for constant transparency and overview of your company’s operation.

More than 30 forklifts are not used in this company.

The analysis de-livers immediate transparency and provides impor-tant decision-making tools.

The dynamic maintenance scheduling with the Mobile Easykey software enables planning for effective hours of operation. At a glance, the fleet manager or the workshop employees capture allmaintenance or UVV-checking appointments.

All appointments can be individually defined. Yellow markers indicate upcoming appointments. Red markers represent due- and red-flashing

markers overdue maintenance and inspections. Unnecessary visits to the workshop can be avoided.

With the new Work Shop Transponders only authorised staff has access to barred equipment. The unauthorised use of defective- or in maintenance located forklifts is therefore excluded. (See page 9)

Also new: Battery Control. Batteries can be assigned to specific vehicles or vehicle

groups and their charging behaviour can be optimised. (See page 9)

The administration software of ‘Mobile Easykey Manager’ offers the opportunity to operate and control your fleet. It runs onstandard PC’s with Microsoft system software.

Thanks to ‘Easy Translate‘ thesoftware can be translated fast into all languages.

This sensor is used to check the elec-trolyte level of the battery. If the elect-rolyte level is low, a

‘Warning display‘ is switched on by the module. At the same time an entry is made in the logbook.

Electrolyte sensor

The power sensor is desi-gned for electric powered vehicles.

It is attached to the battery lead and records the power consump-tion of the battery. As soon as the sensor reacts, the information is transmitted to the Mobile Easykey System and the effective opera-ting hours are recorded.

The universal bracket fits the A-pillars and beams of all standard trucks. For optimal operability multiple adjustments can be made. Several joints allow for a perfect

and safe positioning. The universal bracket can be used with all basic, crash+ and crash+remote modules. The vendor-specific claw is not included in the delivery.

The event tool can monitor two different functions.The tool can be

programmed for speed, oil pres-sure or water temperature.

Eventtool

Presence detection is sensed through a passive radar motion detector, which is working according to

the doubler principal.This miniaturised module is sui-table for a multitude of applications, during which motion and/or pre-sence should be registered. It re-sponds to any movement, within the detection range of the sensor, with extremely high sensitivity. Even the slightest movement, almost to a standstill, are detected.

ACCESS BY WIRE

EasyPoint allows the easy data trans-fer between vehic-les and the Mobile Easykey software. At any time the

driver can head for the Easy Point and connect the module of the vehicle with the cable of the EasyPoint. The data transfers fast from the vehicle to the EasyPoint. From the EasyPoint the data is transferred via cable (Ethernet) or WiFi to and from the software.

Vehicles are fitted with a special reader and the bat-teries are equipped with transponders.

The Mobile Easykey Software de-fines which battery may be used in which forklift. Change intervals and charging times are recorded and therefore transparent. The reports of the battery control provide the basis for the optimised use of change batteries. In conjunction with the electrolyte sensor, most common operation errors are re-cognised and expensive damage avoided.

If a vehicle is activated by the workshop transpon-der, all other users are automatically

blocked temporarily. Only authorised workshop staff can drive or work with the vehicle. Therefore the use of a defect forklift is impos-sible. The activation takes place either through the workshop transponder or the Mobile Easy-key software.

The Track Locator allows the detection of forklifts and machine-ry – indoor and outdoor. The system works with

an optical sensor and is fully integrated into Mobile Easykey. Distances can be analysed and optimised. Potential hazards or risks are shown and can be eliminated. Accidents are fully documented.

As the only manufacturer, Mobile Easy-key provides for its modu-

le versions basic, crash+ and crash+remote a cold storage vari-ant, whereby the use of the fleet management system is possible up to -35° C.
