Our Mission• Mission Statement

– It is our purpose of the Mahopac Central School District to insure that every student in our schools will acquire the skills, knowledge, attitudes and interpersonal skills that will permit him or her to operate effectively in the broader community and lead a successful productive life in a changing world.

• Redistricting is a study of the demographics, facilities and educational needs to make sure we are using our resources in the most effective way to achieve our mission.

• The Mahopac Central School District Redistricting Committee is a group that has been charged by the Board of Education with the responsibility of guiding the district in the development, implementation, and evaluation of the most efficient use of district facilities to ensure that our educational mission continues to be achieved

• As a member of the Mahopac Central School District and/or Mahopac Community, you are invited to apply for an 18 month term position on our Redistricting Committee and/or subcommittee.

• Our meetings will take place monthly and on an “as-needed” basis.
