DESCRIPTION
Redemptorist Youth Ministry is ‘alive and kicking’ in different ways and in different settings around Ireland. We have three Youth Ministry teams based in Redemptorist communities; Clonard Belfast, Scala Cork and Esker Co.Galway. Most Redemptorist Youth Ministry is carried out by lay people, supported by Redemptorists. Much of our Youth Ministry is in the area of school retreats. For young people a retreat is a unique opportunity to step back from the everyday routine and reflect on what is important in life. In the school year 2009-2010, over 10,000 people will have had direct contact with Redemptorist Youth Ministry through our school retreat programme.
