▶ Before you can experience success, you must know the definition.

▶ There is the dictionary definition, there are other people’s definition and there is YOUR definition.



The Dictionary Definition of Success

What Success Are You Trying To Create? Answering this question will help bring your focus back to something very specific and this is important because it will get you to start looking at what’s relevant and what’s irrelevant.

(ex: I’m trying to create a financially stable life to take care of my family; I’m trying to start my own business; I’m trying to create opportunities to advance within my company)


What Outcome Do You Want To Achieve?This question gets you to look at the outcome you want to achieve. What are you going to get by creating the success you want?

What are you going to do, be, know, feel or have as a result of successfully creating this specific thing?

(ex: I will feel within my purpose when I successfully create the life I’m most passionate about; I will be independent in my own happiness; I will have a more rewarding career when I obtain a position to contribute to the success of the company I work for; I will finally be able to just be ME!)

Declare What Success Means To You

Take a moment and write down what you’re trying to create for yourself. What is the outcome you want from this creation. What do you see, hear and feel as your Success?

Remember, this is YOUR definition. The first key to having success is knowing what success means to you


Now that you have YOUR definition of success, it’s time for some ways to help you align your heart and your head for true success


#1 - Shift Your Heart

When you start to shift from your head into your heart, you will experience the difference between ‘having it all and having nothing.’ Letting Love (your Heart) speak for you and propel you will open doors for you that you can’t even imagine right now in this moment.

And here’s why…


These are the things created from this powerful energy and in embracing and consciously practicing this energy, you will replace negative energy and remove the block that’s been keeping you from finding success

You learn to allow Love energy to govern

• your perspective, • your emotional responses • your thoughts • your choices • your actions and • your experiences


That’s right! There is a whole world of Fun and Happiness and Joy and Freedom and Success created because it has organically grown right from your very own Heart’s desires. You see, The Universe receives these requests, and having NO resistance to your happiness or judgment, it just delivers!


And the Universe delivers in a way that is far greater than you can imagine because it is an expert at creating…it’s just what it does best! The moment you speak…it listens and responds.

Can you see why it’s so important to speak from your heart instead of any mixed messages from your head?

#2 - Shift Your Thoughts Sometimes, overwhelming thoughts can cause you to pull away from something that you really want. You begin to fear the added responsibility, the exposure and even start to feel vulnerable and become afraid to go all in. Did a fear of failure creep in and sabotage you trying to create the success that your heart was calling you towards?

Did the energy of self-doubt take over and get in your head?

If this has ever happened to you, you’re going to be so happy with what I am about to tell you…


Don’t Get Trapped

You can’t allow yourself to become trapped behind old patterns and beliefs of thinking that don’t work, so you need to have a flexible thinking that will allow you to continually observe what is going on around you. It will also allow you to consciously feel what is going on inside of you and enable you to keep switching these angles to find new meanings and new paths that will help to propel your life forward.


Hindsight

Hindsight is 20/20 and means you see things crystal clear after the fact.

Hindsight will allow you to learn from the past but you must make the conscious effort to let go of the past.

You need to be able to get the benefits from the past using hindsight. This does not mean to stay rooted or living in the past but being able to extract from it the information you need to help you to make movement and progress towards your success.


Acting From The Heart

As a result of thinking in a versatile way you’re probably going to see new things and new ways to accomplish things that lead to your new definition of success.

But, if you don’t make a conscious effort to change your past behaviors, you will wind up right back where you started.

Along with shifting your heart and your thoughts, you have to shift your behavior as well.

If you start living from your Heart and really ‘Being You’, you won’t let self-doubt, self-sabotage and negative, heavy energy of failure happen again because your Heart will always lead you in the direction of your dreams and your true definition of success.
