    Taylor Swift Announces 2013 RED Tour

    NASHVILLE, Tenn., October 27, 2012- Tonight Taylor Swift announced the launch of

    her 2013 North American Red Tourin support of her smash new album Red. Theannouncement was made during a partnership with ABC News on tonights

    primetime TV special All Access Nashville with Katie Couric- A Special Edition of

    20/20. Redwas released earlier this week and has already sold over 1 million

    copies.

    The 2013 RED Tour is going to feature 58 shows in 45 cities in 29 states and 2

    provinces. The tour will begin in Omaha, Nebraska on March 13th, and continue on

    until its last stop in Nashville, Tennessee in September. Singer/songwriter Ed

    Sheeran will open all the shows on this tour.

    I was really excited for the release of my new album. But now that its out Icouldnt be more excited about the REDTour, and putting a brand new show

    together, says Taylor. I have so many ideas for the show and really making it all

    worthwhile for my fans. Because at the end of the day I am here because of them, so

    I want to give them a show that will truly amaze and entertain them in all ways

    possible.

    Taylors RED Tour is geared to be one of the most-anticipated tours and musical

    events of 2013. Her live shows are known for bringing her music to life in a way that

    in a way that is truly unimaginable. Through her show fans are able to truly see into

    her musical and artistic abilities as well as her personality as they reveal themselves

    onstage. She also will be partnering up with AEG Live for the Red tour.
