Havan Ceremony (April 1)
The new academic session 2019-20 which also
marked the celebration of its fortieth year was
started by performing the ‘Havan’ in the
amphitheater. It was attended religiously by the
management, staff, students and class IV
employees. The atmosphere reverberated with
the chanting of sacred mantras and shlokas.
Shastri ji who was none other than the Principal
of DAV school Yusuf Sarai explained the
significance of the “Gayatri mantra” and
exhorted students to perform right actions
emphasizing the value of honesty and integrity.
Teachers and students offered ‘ahutis’ in the Havan Kund and ended the ceremony with the “Shanti Paath”.
‘Prasad’ was distributed amongst the assembled students and teachers.

Baisakhi Celebration (April 12)
The festival was celebrated with the Morning Prayer. The head girl of the school, V. Anusha of class XII-A spoke
on the significance of Baisakhi followed by recitation of a poem by Khushi Aggarwal of class XII-A,
penned down by Mr. Girish Sanwal, teacher.

NATONAL LAW SCHOOL AWARENESS SUMMIT (April,21)
NIE (a group of Times of India) in collaboration of
CLAT Possible (a coaching institution for CLAT
preparation )had organised a Summit at Malvankar
auditorium, at Rafi marg .
The summit began with the Introductory session of
the panel speakers which include Mr satyam ( the
founder of CLAT Possible)Ms Shruti ( Law
Facilitator from NLU)Mr Divyansh Joshi (NLU
student)
Ms Ayushi (practicing Lawyer supreme Court)and
Mr Rajat (corperate Lawyer).
The discussion started with the importance of
National Law University and its campus selection
process was also shown the top
students selected with their
packages .Had also told about the
different collages all around India.
It was followed by the Clat
examination how to crack it, marks
division He also told about Law as
a career option
difference between what people
think law is and what it actually is.
Afterwards another member of the
panel Ms. Arushi told that she have
learnt a lot from plasticising law and how it changed her perspective and personality. She told that she belongs
to science background but she has chosen law because of her interest in interacting with people. Mr. Rajat told
how it is being a coorperate lawyer and how determined he is for pursuing law since his childhood. At
last Divyansh told how it feels to be a NLU student and life of students at NLU.The students 15 students from
class 12th Legal studies and 10 from prent 10th class had attented the summit with their legal studies faculty Mrs
Deepti shikha misra. The workshop was very informative and useful for the students pursuing law.

Earth Day Celebration (April 22)
The Ecology Club of our school celebrated the Earth Day.
Earth Hour was observed from 9.00 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
during which the lights and the fans were switched off in
the entire school as per the instructions from our hon’ble
principal Dr. Anuradha Mehta. It aimed at conserving
electricity and to raise awareness for energy consumption
and its effects on environment. A special assembly was also
conducted for the students of Classes I-II. A skit was
presented by the students on ‘Save Environment.’ It was followed by a poem titled “Environmental degradation”
which was recited by Akshita of class II-C bringing out that all living things have an intrinsic value, and each
plays a unique role in the complex web of life.
A video presentation was also shown to the
entire school titled on theme ‘Protect our
species’. It aimed at educating and raising
awareness about the accelerating rate of
extinction of millions of species and the causes
and consequences of this phenomenon. Eight
students, 4 each from classes VIII and XII
participated in the “Poster Making Competition”
conducted by Indian Environmental Society on
the topic “Protect our Species”.

LABOUR’S DAY (May, 1)
Our School celebrated Labour’s Day to
facilitate the workers for their
continuous hard work to maintain the
orderly functioning of the school. The
celebration was held in conference room
commenced with the speech of the
Varun Tariyal (Head boy, XII B) and V.
Anusha (Head girl, XII A) followed by
recitation of a beautiful poem “Amar
Itihas Tumhara Aaj Gaana Chahti
Hoon” by Sakshi Tyagi of X A which
was then followed by a thankful speech for labours by Gauri Sharma of class IX A. After that Mr. Pradeep among
the workers sang a beautiful bhajan on “Tu hi Aadhar re” for thanking the school to celebrate this day for them
followed by another wonderful bhajan sung by Mr. Subash on “Maiyaa Tere Charnon Mein”. Mr. Anil further
proceeded by saying some inspiring lines on the virtue of hardwork. The celebration ended by the distribution of
gifts as a token of our gratitude and appreciation for their hardwork to all the group IV employees by our manager,
Karan Mehta.

To provide an
opportunity to our
students to showcase
their hidden talent in
different fields such as
Contemporary dance,
music, classical dance
and vocals, Fireless
cooking, chess, glass and
vase painting,
Instrumental music a
talent hunt competition was organized where the
students grabbed the opportunity with both hands showcasing their talents.

STEPPING STONE (April,8)
The first day of Pre School is always exciting for both students and
teachers. The teachers did their best to make these ones comfortable
and welcomed the Pre School students with a Crown made of paper
titled ' PRE SCHOOL SUPER HERO'
Meanwhile, the In charge ma'am addressed the parents and made
them aware about the rules and regulations of the school.
HARVEST FESTIVAL- BAISAKHI (April,12)
Baisakhi was celebrated with enthusiasm. The importance of Baisakhi was highlighted
through activities like Finger and lady Finger printing to make crops and kites etc .
EVERYDAY IS AN EARTH DAY (April,22)
To sensitize the children to become the crusaders for
environment conservation, Pre Primary Wing organized the
“EARTH DAY CELEBRATION”.
Students were informed about the importance of Earth Day
through the number of activities like Hand Printing in the
cutout of Earth with the slogan “SAVE EARTH”. Lights and
fans were switched off for half an hour to make them aware
about conservation of resources.
NANHE KAVI (April 24 & 25)
Students participated enthusiastically in Hindi Recitation
Competition. The competition gave the children a
platform to showcase their talent and confidence. The
students recited poems like Meri Maa, Anekta mein Ekta,
Main Gulab ka Phool Banuga, etc. The criteria for the
competition were choice of poem, its presentation,
pronunciation and how well it was learnt.
TIME TO REFRESH (April 29)
Students tried to beat the
heat in this sundrenched
summer by organizing a
refreshing lemonade party.
Teachers demonstrated the
procedure of making
lemonade and children also
participated with lots of
enthusiasm. It gave them a
hand in experience of
making a glass of lemonade.

WORKERS- THE FOUNDATION (May 1)
To honor workers for their
contribution towards making our lives
easier the Pre Primary Wing
celebrated t 'LABOUR DAY' for
untiring services provided by the
support staff.
As a mark of respect and for their
priceless contribution in the smooth
functioning of school they were
served lunch and presented gifts.
Students made thank you cards for
them.
MOTHER- AN ICON OF TRUE LOVE (May 4)
Mother's Day was celebrated by the students
who expressed their love and affection for
their mother with Tilak and presented sashes
titled, 'I LOVE YOU MAA, MOM YOU
ARE THE BEST'. A special cultural
programme was organized for the mothers
which began with the lighting of lamp by
Trustee Sir, Vice Principal Sir,
Administrative In charge ma'am and Pre-
Primary In charge ma'am.
Students put up a great show expressing
their love for their mothers by presenting
heart touching songs and dances.
This was followed by BEST OUT OF WASTE competition by mothers in which they made a number of
beautiful things like lamp, cycle, vase, etc.
The day ended with felicitating the winners as well as participants with certificates and lastly few surprise prizes
i.e. certificates and sashes were given to some mothers titled, ' PUNCTUAL, BEST DRESSED, CREATIVE
MOTHER'.
RED RED EVERYWHERE (May 6 to May 10)
Pre -school conducted 'RED DAY' activity to introduce children into the mesmerizing
realm of colors. The shade of red made our tiny tots feel bright, lively and cheerful.
The celebration continued for a week in which number of activities were done using
Red color including finger printing by students in the picture of an apple, tearing and
pasting in a tomato, coloring in their school T-shirt, and coloring in the outline of
heart to make card for Mother's Day.
Overall, it was a fun and everlasting learning experience for the students.

Where Innocence gets a strong foothold
HAWAN CEREMONY (April 8)
To mark the commencement of the new academic session
2019-20, Neev school organized hawan ceremony . The
hawan was conducted at the outset of the academic session to
welcome students and to bring to them the blessings of the
almighty for the year ahead. The pious ceremony went for
one hour with the chanting of gayatri mantras that enriched
the environment with positivity.
Our honourable director mam, trustee sir, our manager Mr.
Karan Mehta, our in-charge Mrs. Deepika Sharma, staff
members and all the students participated in the ceremony.
Mr. S.L. Arya who is also the principal of a reputed school,
conducted the hawan. After the hawan, sweets were
distributed and community lunch was served to everyone
present. Mr. S.L. Arya gave his heart felt wishes to the
students and inspired them to work with stern commitment
and perseverance.

Baisakhi celebration (April 12)
Keeping up with the tradition of celebrating all the
festivals with great fervor and gaiety and apprising
the children of their rich culture and heritage,
Baisakhi was celebrated in a colourful and
cheerful manner. Some students came in Punjabi
attire. Teachers explained to the children about
harvesting and apprised them about the importance
of the festival. A number of activities were held
like making of ‘dhol’, ‘kada’ from foil paper, crop
through finger printing etc. In the end all the students enjoyed dancing on
bhangra beats and went back home with a big smile on their face.

Earth day (April, 22)
To sensitize the children to become crusaders for environment
Conservation, NEEV celebrated Earth day . The children were made
aware that EVERY DAY IS AN EARTH DAY and the purpose of
celebrating Earth Day is to help to keep our grass green and our skies
blue with more trees and less pollution. Students made beautiful
drawings of the things which make earth happy and sad. Children
took a pledge that they will not use poly bags and will make other
people aware too about their surroundings to use paper or jute bags
instead of poly bags.

Labour’s Day (May 1)
As a token of gratitude and love towards their
‘didis’ and ‘bhaiyas’ who help in the smooth
functioning of the school, the little buds of NEEV
presented them with ‘Thank you cards” and a
special program was conducted for them. The
management provided them with lunch and gifts as
a token of appreciation for their hard work.
Mother's Day (May, 5)
It was a day of celebrating a mother's love. Neev, celebrated
Mother's Day to show respect and express gratitude towards the
mothers. Students displayed their love through dance, song,
activities such as crown presenting to mothers. Fashion Show
based on Retro theme and Mehendi competition was
organized for mothers. Ramp walk stole the show. A
beautiful selfie frame was designed specially to catch
the moment. Honorable director ma'am, Manager Mr.
Karan Mehta and Activity Coordinator (Saket-RRPS)
Mrs. Deepa Sharma graced the occasion with their
presence and awarded winning mothers. A light
refreshment was served. Day was filled with great
excitement.
Aqua-Fresca Party (May,14)
To beat the heat an aqua-fresca party was organized for
the students of Neev where students made lemonade
for themselves and brought juices. Students enjoyed
the party along with their friends and teachers.
