Should you go on a sight-seeing cruise on the Thames? Are
the views best from the London Eye? Or should you just cut
to the chase and have a nice lunch somewhere? With this
experience you can do all three. Board Bateaux London’s
river cruiser from the glass pontoon at Embankment
Pier. Then relax on board and enjoy a three course lunch,
followed by tea or coffee. But don’t let the great food
distract you from the fabulous views, as you cruise past
the Houses of Parliament, the Tower of London and many
more iconic landmarks. After lunch (from a seasonally
changing menu) you’ll be dropped off just a few steps from
the London Eye. You may have to queue a bit here, but it’ll
be worth it when you climb aboard your air-conditioned
capsule. The Eye slowly turns, giving you sensational
panoramic views across London from 135 metres up.
This is a fantastic way to enjoy the sights from two
unique perspectives.
AvailabilityLunch cruises operate every Thursday to Saturday from
January to March, Wednesday to Saturday from April
to June, Tuesday to Saturday from July to August and
Wednesday to Saturday September to November. Please
note Saturday availability is very limited.
Participant GuidelinesMinimum age is 5. Under 18s must be accompanied by an
adult. A vegetarian meal option is available. Unfortunately
the boats don’t have full wheelchair access (ramp to access
boat and bathrooms accessed by stairs). London Eye tickets
are not fast track.
WeatherBateaux London cruises operate in all weather conditions.
DurationBoard at Embankment Pier from 12pm to depart at
12.30pm. Please arrive promptly as late boarding is
not possible. Disembark at Waterloo Pier at 2.15pm.
Your London Eye flight is at approx 2.30pm (subject to
availability) and lasts around 30 mins.
Numbers on the DayThe Symphony seats a maximum of 220 diners and The
Naticia 110. Each London Eye capsule holds up to 25
people.
SpectatorsSpectators are welcome to wave you off from the
riverbank.
