• The system does not save information. Therefore, when you are inputting class completion report, make sure that you have all of the information you need to complete it (including payment option).
• The system saves training locations, so all you need to click on is the dropdown menu of training locations.
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgVoucher = Student
• It will ask you the number of KNOWN VOUCHERS and UNKNOWN VOUCHERS.
• Always put a ZERO in the KNOWN and the maximum number of students in the UNKNOWN VOUCHERS
• By using the maximum vouchers, it gives you - as the instructor - the ability to cancel and re-send a voucher
• The TSC can re-claim vouchers; you just need to call them.
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgBlended Learning
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgBlended Learning
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgBlended Learning
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgBlended Learning
• If you are the instructor, the class should be listed on your HOMEPAGE
• If you are not the instructor, then go to CLASSES >> CLASSES I’M TEACHING >> Select ORGANIZATION >> Select INSTRUCTOR
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgBlended Learning
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgClaiming Vouchers
• So the instructor is claiming the voucher
• So it’s ok if the students don’t get their emails.
• If the email doesn’t match the name in the system, then the system will change the email for the purpose of username:
• [email protected] is my username
• [email protected] is how my username is changed
• The system adds 001
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgClaiming Vouchers: For Students
• Go to the Red Cross Learning Center: www.redcrosslearningcenter.org
• Log In
• Put email address into the User Name
• Click on FORGOT PASSWORD
• Once you get your email from the Red Cross, then follow the directions to change password
• Then Log In

• When you close the class, you are purchasing the student certificates.
•
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgGrading Options:
• Grading Options:
• Successful
• Unsuccessful
• Not Evaluated
• Select an option if not successful:
• Did not successfully complete all course objectives
• Failed written exam
• Unable to perform one or more skills
• Did not attend all course sessions
• Did not desire grade/certificate
• Arrangements to complete course objectives
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgUnsuccessful Students
• If you have students who have completed the BLENDED LEARNING but who were UNSUCCESSFUL in the class (i.e: didn’t pass the pre-course skills of a lifeguarding class but who completed the blended learning portion), you need to call the TSC and have them removed from your class list.
• You will be charged for their certification if you do not call the TSC.
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgCredit Card Processing
• If your computer saves information into its system, you can’t use any of the saved information to complete the forms
• Everything needs to be typed into the form each time
• Even if there is a zero dollar amount, you still need a credit card for processing
• The exception is if your agreement uses a purchase order with the Red Cross
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgProblem Solving:
• Problem: Taught 8 students in a Lifeguarding Class; there were 4 instructors.
• How do I document that in the system?
• Solution:
• Put the class in as a Blended Learning Class
• Call the TSC and have them change the dates of the class.
• With Blended Learning, you don’t have to use all of the VOUCHERS you indicate that you will need
• Then close the class.
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgMerging Profiles
• Currently in the system they are not able to merge profiles.
• But the certifications can be transferred to an existing PROFILE
RedCrossLearningCenter.orgOther Information
• You cannot be an instructor on your own basic-level certification
• Make sure that you have the most up-to-date instructors manual. Instructors Manuals were updated to reflect the administrative changes in November, 2019.
