Important information for families using the School Bus Program
The School Bus Program (SBP) assists families in rural and regional Victoria by
transporting students to and from schools and is jointly administered by the Department of
Education (DET) and Public Transport Victoria (PTV).
To be eligible for this service, students must meet certain criteria.
An information pack has recently gone out to all families that we believe may be affected
by changes to this service for 2016.
If your child will be using either the Nangiloc, Colignan or Carwarp bus service in 2016,
please let us know if you have not yet received an information pack.
It is important that any families using one of these services in 2016 have provided us with
an updated application form and are aware of the changes that will be implemented at the
beginning of 2016.
Students who have not returned an updated application form for 2016 or received
confirmation that they are eligible for travel, will not be able to use this service in 2016 so
please ensure that you have familiarised yourself with your responsibilities as set out in the
information pack.
More information can also be found at: http://www.education.vic.gov.au/school/parents/
secondary/Pages/schooltravel.aspx?Redirect=1#link16
Please contact me directly if you have any questions or require an information pack.
Thank you,
