Prep Practice No.2—Tuesday 22nd November Home Page Address - http://www.redcliffsps.vic.edu.au EMAIL: [email protected] Phone: 5024 1044 Fax: 5024 2020 Principal’s Report: Milo Blast T-20 Cricket: Eight year 5 and 6 students - Eli Edwards, Jasper Turner, Andrew Draper, Zac Heath, Osi Lokeni-Vea, Nate Taruia, Tristen Rosebottom and Kayne Wissemann travelled to the Old Aerodrome Ovals in Mildura today to compete in the Milo T-Blast Cricket competition. Our boys had a great time competing and represented their school with distinction. School Review: Red Cliffs Primary School completed a School Review during term 3. The review process consisted of a school self evaluation and a formal review panel (that included school staff representatives, an independent school reviewer and two local principals) analysing school data. The final review document is currently being checked to ensure accuracy. The final, department endorsed review will be placed on the school website in the next few weeks. 2017 Enrolment: Red Cliffs Primary School is currently accepting prep enrolments for next year. Parents with children who turn 5 by April 30th in 2017 are asked to contact the office to arrange an interview. I ask parents to pass this message on to neighbours, friends and relatives. It is important that we are aware of enrolment numbers as this helps greatly with our planning for next year. All new preps should receive a “Prep Practice” letter in the mail this week. Please spread the word about how good our school really is. Advance notice: Parents are asked to note the following dates: Tuesday 6th December— Grade 5 Leadership Speeches Monday 12th December— School Concert Tuesday 13th December— Year 6 Graduation Dinner Thursday 17th December— RCPS Swimming Sports Tuesday 20th December— Term 4 ends at 1.45pm School Council: Members are reminded the November School Council meeting will be held next Wednesday, 9th November. Members unable to attend are asked to contact me beforehand. Aussie of the Month: Congratulations to Elijah Edwards, Red Cliffs Primary School’s Aussie of the Month for November. Eli demonstrates leadership in group activities, has great organisation skills and reliably completes all set tasks. Well done Eli! Have a great week! Principal’s Report: Milo Blast T-20 Cricket:

Eight year 5 and 6 students -

Eli Edwards, Jasper Turner,

Andrew Draper, Zac Heath,

Osi Lokeni-Vea, Nate Taruia,

Tristen Rosebottom and

Kayne Wissemann travelled to

Parent Club News:

Sausage Sizzle - Volunteers are needed to cook

sausages on Wednesdays from November 9th through

to the end of term. If we are unable to get enough

volunteer cooks we will not be able to continue with

the sausage sizzles. Help!
