FACE MAKE-UP
Function:Anti-ageing.
Anti-UV+IR photo damage.(see previous results)
Definition:Biotechnological ferment containing multifunctional and stable enzymes.
Properties:VENUCEANE™ fights IR-induced
damage: lessens the inflammatory conditions, improves hydration and
maintains dermal architecture in order to limit wrinkle formation.
Characteristics:VENUCEANE™ prevents IR-induced
stress. In response to heat increase, VENUCEANE™ offers proportional
detoxifying activities and counteracts ROS production generated by IR.
Points of interest:Disturbed under IR radiation, the
mitochondrial integrity is protected by VENUCEANE™: energy production
and mitochondrial water content increase and contribute to hydration
improvement.
INCI Name:Thermus Thermophilus Ferment –
Glycerin
Applications:Protective day creams, sun protection
products, make-up emulsions.
Formulation:Water soluble. Incorporate at room
temperature or at 45°C in an emulsion.
Recommended use level:1.5-5%

Protocol: Disperse the ViscOptima PL in the water with Staro stirring (s=1000 rpm). Weigh and mix Part B. Weigh and mix Part C. Weigh Part D. Add Part B to Part A with strong Staro stirring (s=2700 rpm). Extemporaneously, add Part C, then Part D to Part A+C. Neutralise with Part E and allow stirring with Staro (s=1000) for 30 minutes. Add Part F, homogenise well. Add Part G, homogenise well. Check pH at 6.00 +/- 0.10.
[•] The addition of Osmocide™4 allows to reduce the concentration of traditional preservatives
Non-guarantee:This formulation has been subjected to limited stability tests and has been shown to perform well. However formulators adopting this approach should ensure to their own satisfaction long term stability and functionality. It is good practice to conduct safety tests on all final formulations prior to marketing. Suggested uses should not be taken as an inducement to infringe any existing patents.
