flowers appear in April and May, then produce loads of bright red fruit in late summer and fall.

Enhance fruiting by planting it near V. ‘Mohican’ or V. rhytidophylloides ‘Alleghany’. Red Balloon is a

very showy addition to the mixed border or used as a foundation planting.
