like glass, metal, plastic, textiles and electronics

Why should we recycle?● It protects the enviroment●Products from recycled materials are

cheaper● It requires less energy

Saving forests•By recycling used paper, we can save the forests and preserve the nature

Recycling in Slovakia● It’s estimated that each Slovak creates around 327kg of trash

every year, however this number is not accurate, as it doesn’t include trash which was thrown out illegally

● Illegal trash is usually thrown out near roads, forests or lakes and burned to avoid taxes

● In Slovakia, we have three kinds of trash bins for recyclingBlue – Paper wasteYellow – Plastic wasteGreen – Glass waste
