PA law and Moon Township Ordinance requires businesses to recycle the following materials:

Aluminum Containers * O�ce Paper * Corrugated Cardboard Leaf Waste (Includes leaves, shrubbery, and tree trimmings. Does not include grass clippings)

You are encouraged but not required to recycle other materials such as glass containers, bi-metal cans, plastic, newsprint and other paper products.

The Moon Township single family residential community has embraced weekly curbside collection of paper, cardboard, plastic, glass and metal containers. Seasonal collection efforts for leaf, tree and shrub waste have also been very successful.

We know that many businesses have developed and expanded recycling programs. We need to verify that all commercial, institutional and multi-family properties are participating in a recycling program. Please complete the enclosed survey to let us know your current recycling program status. The reverse side lists vendors alphabetically that can help you initiate or expand your recycling program.

Recycling is required by law but mostly it is just the right thing to do…..
