RECYCLING AT HOME

OBJECTIVES
• Students will define and research about Recycling
• Students will identify and collect recyclable items
• Students will construct and create a graph
• Students will compare and present their results
MATERIALS
• Resources for Research (books, internet, video)
• Microsoft Excel• Recyclable items (newspaper,
aluminum cans, glass, plastic)• Overhead projector
THE ACTIVITY
• Students will be in groups of four• Students will delegate duties amongst each
other• For one week each will collect recyclables.• Students will bring their data to class• They will then graph their data • Students will compare results and present• Students will combine results as a whole
