Reg.no Need for the study: This project is related to one of the important process of human resources department that is the recruitment process. This study is done to know the sources used by the company for recruitment junior, middle and senior level, and to study the impact of e-recruiting in the company to know whether referral policy is implemented in the company, to know whether the company outsources for recruitment needs, to analyze the importance given in the recruiting employees and to find the sources that the company uses for finding personnel for employment. Review of Literature: Recruitment is the process concerned with the identification of sources from where the personnel can be employed and motivating them to offer themselves for the employment. Recruitment has been defined as the process of finding and attracting capable applicants for employment. The process begins when new recruits are sought and ends when their applications are submitted. The result is a pool of applicants from when new employees are selected. – Weather and Davis. Lord has defined recruitment in terms of its competitive nature. He views that “recruitment is a form of competition just as corporation complete to develop manufactures and market the best product or service, so they must also compete to identify attract and hire the most qualified people. Need for the study:

The study about the recruitment process practiced in Raptakos Brett co Ltd.,

To find out the type of recruitment process taking place in Raptakos Brett co Ltd.,

Secondary Objectives;

To know the sources used by the company for recruiting junior, middle and senior level.

To study the impact of r-recruiting in the company.

To know whether referral policy is implemented in the company.

Research Methodology:

Introduction:

Research Methodology is simply , a plan of action for a research which explains in details how data is to be collected, analyzed and interpreted . Research means investigation, or enquiry, especially for new facts in any branch of knowledge.

Research Design.

The research design adopted for the study is descriptive in nature. It aims at describing accurately the attitudes of a group, community, people etc.,

Field of Study:

The study is conducted in Raptakos Brett co Ltd.,

Sampling Size:

Based on Convenience Sampling size was determined. A sample of A5 employees was choosen for administering the questionnaire.

Sampling Techniques:

The sampling techniques used in this research is convenience sampling technique. When the population elements are selected for the inclusion in the sample based on the easy of acess, it can be called convince sampling

Tools of data collection:

The tool for data collection used in this study is a questionnaire. It gives an opportunity to the researcher to collect uniform data and arrive at conclusion.

Sources of Data:

Primary data was the Souce utilized for the research purpose primary data were collected for respondents who were the company staff. It was collected in the questionnaire form, for the literature and other related chapters the researcher collected data from the Books, Journals, Magazines and Internets.

Pre-Testing:

Since the sample number taken was 45 altogether , pre-testing was done with 5 staff. Few major alternatives were made after pre-testing as the researcher felt that those alternatives were necessary. Few questions were added. Alternations made as the outcome of pre-testing made the actual data collection perfect and complete.

Primary data.

Primary data are those, which are collected a fresh and for the first time and thus happen to be the original in character. This study it is collected through questionnaire. It is the first hand, true and unbiased information.

Secondary data.

Those data which are already lable for this study the researcher referred books, journals, magazines and internet site.

Tools used for data analysis:

Tools used for analysis are

This is the earliest and the best method to analyze a given data . the percentage wise distribution of the data given an idea of which factor is more than and which is less.

Have to do analysis, interpretating findings, suggestions and conclusions,.

Limitations:

The major limiting factor for this study of recruitment of employees is time.

Due to busy work of the employers they were not able to reply correctly.

Due to lack of information, the conclusions may be correct only up to certain limit. Being the employers are answering half heartedly the results are true up to certain limit.

The respondents were not checked for their biased nature.

Certain respondents were not willing to answer the questionnaire.

Expected deliverables.

I expect the company should ensure that there is both internal and external source of recruitments for the top level to bottom level. To ensure the new recruitment resources are used in modest way that is E-recruit.
