Spend your summer vacation with us, enjoying games and crafts that reflect the weekly themes listed below. Weekly water days will be at each location. Whatever you are interested in, there is a week for you. This is a general day camp.

HAVE YOU CONSIDERED THIS? A ‘Survivor’ themed camp where sports, active games, arts, crafts, teamwork and a lot of fun, rule! During this action packed week, campers will split into two tribes, make flags, and be challenged in both group and individual contests.

For the high-energy camper who loves the great outdoors this camp is a journey into nature exploration. Participate in outdoor adventures on land and water through hiking, archery, geo-caching, and tubing along Catoctin Creek. Navigate the trails to hunt for hidden treasures using maps and clues. Take on the challenge of a creek walk to find native wildlife and explore animal habitats. Hands-on activities include wilderness survival challenges, meeting live animals, conservation projects and outdoor adventures.

These camps are designed for all skill levels. Each morning campers rotate through various skill stations designed to improve every facet of the game. Baseball skill stations include hitting, pitching, fielding, catching, base running, rules, signs/signals and sportsmanship. In the afternoon campers put their skills to work in a game situation. Participants will be grouped according to age and skill level. Learn baseball from America’s Pastime staff as well as guest appearances from local High School/College coaches and players. REGISTER EARLY Early program registration is encouraged since roster size is limited. Registrations are accepted on a first come, first serve basis. Pre-registration required unless otherwise indicated. REGISTRATION CONFIRMATION Confirmation sent via e-mail, otherwise your cancelled check or credit card statement is your receipt. You will be notified if there is a problem processing your registration or if the program is cancelled. Please make a note of your program start date. REFUND POLICYIf you want to withdraw from a program call 301-600-2936. All requests for refunds must be made 2-weeks prior to the start of the program. A $4 processing fee will be charged for each participant per program refunded. All refund requests must be approved by the Recreation Superintendent. Refunds will be issued according to the original method of payment. Registrations for trips that require pre-purchased tickets are not refundable. RETURNED CHECKSA $25 fee will be charged for checks returned for non-payment. AGE POLICYProgram participants must be the advertised age for a program before the program ends. All age requirements are set to benefit the participants and to make the instruction consistent and safe.

DISCIPLINEThe Division has a discipline policy for program participants. In the event the participant is asked to leave a program/ facility, no refund will be issued.

ALCOHOL POLICYWe strive to have a family atmosphere on our trips. If you choose to drink alcohol while on one of our trips please do so responsibly and make arrangements to have a designated driver for your trip home from the bus drop off area.
