Considering the cutting instrument used to cut the bottle was not efficient enough, we were only able to cut one bottle. I thought it would be too much time consuming, only cutting water bottles.

05/03/2015Volunteer as a translator in the hospital Padre Carolo, ServiceI arrived at the hospital at 1:30pm and would have to leave at 5:30pm. I was told to follow a guard which would lead me were the canadian doctors and nurses were working. My job was to translate what the doctors or nurses had to say to the patient and vice versa. This was a very nice experience, I really enjoyed working there and helping other people. 4 hours

06/03/2015Exercise, ActionThis day I was boxing at the gym, first thing that we did was warm up for about 45 minutes. This consisted in running, jumping the rope, use of the weights and abdomen workout. We reviewed the use of the technique for 15 minutes, and the hour left went against one another in boxing rounds. I considered that it was very difficult to keep up the pace.

Later we brought all the equipment as we organized and started plowing a small part of the land they had, this was hard, considering that the land was hard and not fertile. However, after plowing, we brought the fertilized soil in which seeds were placed and watered. We spent some time with the elderly after finishing a small portion of the garden and participated in some activities other groups prepared with the elderly. 4 - 5 hours

While waiting for my classmates, I talked to the elderly and made friends among them. When our group arrived, I organized the group to carry on with their activities planned the lesson before. Considering I was responsible for the garden, me and 4 other students had to work on the garden most of the time, this meant strength and commitment. At the end of the visit we were able to plant most of the flower, which I was proud of. I will have to look at the flowers and visit the elderly every 2 days.
