Name of the work:-Reconstruction of A.S.R.Stadium at Eluru

Est.Cost.Rs.723.00 lakhs

The District Collector,West Godavari District,Eluru issued instructions to inspect the A.S.Rstadium at Eluru and to prepare necessary line estimate for demolition and reconstruction,if necessary.

Accordingly,joint inspection was held by the Engineers of PR&R&B Department on 22.6.2012.

After inspection,the following conclusions are arrived:-

1)The seating galleries G1 and G2 and pavillion complex are in reparable condition.

Hence,there is no need to dismantle them.

2)The remaining galleries are in dilapidated condition.Hence,they may be

dismantled.

3) 8-Lane running track and basket ball court need repairs.

4) Drainage facilities in the ground must be improved.

The copy of thejoint inspection reportis enclosed.The opinion of the M/s Siddartha Engg.College,

Vijayawada is obtained regarding the condition of the existing stadium.They recommended to dismantle

all the galleries.Copy of the Structural stability reportenclosed.

Further,as per the instructions of the Dist.Collector,the following infrastructure facilities are

proposed in the estimate along with reconstruction of galleries and compound wall:-

1)Dormitories accomodating 30 persons each,both for gents and ladies seperately.

2)Toilet facilities inside the stadium.

3)Indoor games complex inside the stadium.

Accordingly,the proposal estimate is prepared with the following provisions:-

1)Dismantling of dilapidated galleries and re-construction of galleries and

compound wall as per the plan enclosed.

2)Construction of the following infra-structural facilities:-

a)Two Nos of Dormitories accomodating 30 persons each

b)Toilet facilities inside the stadium.

c)Indoor games complex inside the stadium.

3)Repairs to basket ball court,running track and laying of new court for tennis

including laying of sports turf/grass

4)Providing drainage facilities in the ground

Further lump sum provisions are made in the estimate for the following items:-

1)Provision for VAT @ 5.00%

2)Provision for Consultancy charges @ 2.00%3)Provision for Q.C charges @ 0.50%

4)Provision for Price escalation @ 10%

The estimate is prepared as per the current SSR,i.e.2011-2012 rates and as per

the A.P Revised Standard data work will be carried out as per APDSS after administrative sanction
