This letter is to serve as my formal recommendation for Martin Rodriguez. I had the pleasure and honor of working with Martin at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona.
Martin was hired by Mandarin Oriental Barcelona in May 2010 as waiter for the opening of Mimosa Garden Restaurant where I was working as Restaurant Manager. Since the beginning Martin was of great support for the team. His determination and experience made him a key element for the success of the operation. Besides his excellent Food and Beverage knowledge, Martin was continually promoting a climate of enthusiasm and team work.
After his time in Mimosa Garden, Martin got promoted to Chef de Rang in the all day dining restaurant Blanc Brasserie & Gastro Bar. In his new position Martin kept growing and accepted a new challenge when he got promoted to Restaurant Supervisor. In his new role Martin was mainly responsible for the Afternoon Tea and Diner service.
Finally, Martin is a highly motivated and qualified professional with experience in all aspects of the Food and Beverage operations. Martin is reliable, responsible and committed. As Restaurants Manager at Mandarin Oriental Barcelona, I would happily have Martin back in my organization due to his ability and passion for the hospitality industry.
