Week Topic – Mini‐beasts and Growing Things

Read, Write, Inc.
Consolidation of existing phonic knowledge and introduction of new phonemes where necessary. Using segmenting and blending skills to read and spell. To develop new vocabulary for writing with use of power words. To work towards individual writing targets through writing composition activities.
1 – 3days
Jack and the beanstalk Read story. Act out the story. Planting lettuce and tomatoes.
