Paper Submission Guidelines
Papers are invited on any of the themes mentioned above. All
presented papers will be published in a UGC approved Journal.
The interested participants are requested to fill up the
registration form and send it with the abstract of paper and
registration fee.
Abstract should be properly typed with double space in Times
New Roman in about 250 words prepared in MS- Word. It
should carry the title of paper, affiliation address, e- mail and
key words. The research paper should be written in English or
Hindi in MS- Word on A4 size paper, having single line spacing
and 1.25” margin on both sides not exceeding 2500 words.
The font of English & Hindi typing should be Times New Roman
& Kruti Dev 010 respectively (Font size 12).
The order of the content must be as per the sequence: title
page, abstract, introduction, methodology/ discussion,
conclusion, references.
The paper should be accompanied by a declaration that the
author has contributed his/ her own work for publication for
the first time.
The paper should reach on or before the prescribed date of

About the College
Ganesh Lal Agrawal College, Medininagar (Daltonganj),
popularly known as G. L. A. College, is the premier institution of
higher education in Jharkhand having an indelible footprint in
educational, literary, social and political life of Jharkhand. It was
established in 1954 and affiliated to Bihar University,
Muzaffarpur. It was subsequently affiliated to Ranchi
University, Ranchi in 1961. In 2009, Nilamber - Pitamber
University was established with headquarters at Medininagar
and the college was affiliated to this new University.
In spite of the remote geographical location and other
constraints, GLA College Daltonganj, a constituent co-
educational college of the Nilamber Pitamber University,
Medininagar is catering to the need of the aspirant youths of
the Palamu, a predominantly agrarian and rural area by
offering Undergraduate, Postgraduate and Ph. D. programmes
in different faculties, such as Humanities, Social Sciences,
Sciences and other Vocational Courses. At present the college
is the centre of almost entire postgraduate departments
running at the Nilamber - Pitamber University, Medininagar.
The distance of Daltonganj from Ranchi and Patna are 165 and
250 Km. respectively. The nearest airports are Ranchi and
Patna. This town is well connected by roadways and railways
from all over India.
About the Conference
The National Conference on “Recent Trends in Research in
Applied Sciences : An Interdisciplinary Approach” (NCRTRAS-
2018) is going to be held at Daltonganj (Palamu), Jharkhand,
known for its historical importance and natural beauty on th thDecember 06 & 07 , 2018. This is the first national level
academic event in science in the N. P. University, Medininagar.
The main aims of NCRTRAS-2018 are to bring together the
national leading scientists, academicians, teaching faculties
and researchers of science communities to present, exchange
and share their thoughts, experiences and research outcomes
on all aspects of their original work.stDevoted to the rapid development of science in 21 century,
this conference is designed in a way that all the participants of
their respective fields will gather for a national scientific event
to discuss and express their research work.
We are very pleased to invite you to NCRTRAS -2018, where all
the dimensions of interdisciplinary research in applied science
will be discussed in wonder and excitement. We thank you for
