EMPLOYER NEWS IMPORTANT DATES RECENT RANKINGS Letter from the director We are proud to say we had a great fall 2014 semester! Our fall 2014 career fair had 2600 students participate and network with 253 employers. This was our biggest fair since Fall 2008! In collaboration with the Construction Science Management department, a Construction Industry Fair was created. Over 190 students attended meeting with 53 employers. Over 2,900 job postings were available for students to apply for in our on-line recruiting system “ClemsonJobLink; 2,153 for full time positions after graduation, 646 for off - campus internships and 192 for off - campus part time jobs while in school. More than 1,700 students interviewed in the center for 1,186 full time positions after graduation and 595 for internships with 136 employers. We welcomed 565 new employers recruiting Clemson students. THINGS TO LOOK FOR IN 2015 In 2015, the Center launched a new website. Keep checking clemson.edu/career for updates and new information. This fall, Littlejohn Coliseum will be closed for remodeling for the next few years. In turn, we have found a new and exciting location for our fall fair. The fall fair will be September 15 & 16 at Fike Recreation Center. We are eager to continue making the event better serve you and our students! signing bonuses is increasing according to the Job Outlook Survey 2015 con-ducted by NACE.

ing bonuses to Class of 2015 graduates, marking the first year that the percent-age of employers with plans to offer bo-nuses has topped 50 percent.

Chemical engineering majors are projected to receive the largest average

signing bonus at $5,250. By industry, food and beverage manufacturers are most inclined to offer signing bonuses to the Class of 2015.
