David Rosenberg says, “My yoga teaching is based on the knowledge gleaned from BKS Iyengar and his children and other teachers who have studied with the Iyengar family. It is a style of yoga that requires precise alignment in the yoga postures to promote flexibility, strength and balance. I also try to infuse a humor and warmth to my teaching to make classes fun and appropriately challenging. I have been teaching yoga

since 1993 and I am certified Introductory Level 2 Iyengar yoga instructor.”

Junior Judo & JujitsuGrades 3-9. Junior Judo/Jujitsu instills a strong under-standing of the basics of grappling that will improve your child’s wrestling, judo, jujitsu or self-defense skill. Children with varying degrees of skill and experience can easily participate togeth-er. In our program, we stress the mutual benefit of working together towards the common goal of being excellent grapplers, while most martial arts programs rely on striking the attacker with punches and kicks. You will notice an increase in your child’s confidence and grap-pling skill within a few weeks. Instructor: Frank Gerlitz, PhD. 5 Black-belt Judo, 7 Blackbelt Jujitsu. 7 weeks.                 ID# 3316.601 1/26 – 3/16 Saturday                                                          FEE: $59 1:05 PM – 2:05 PM          Scarlett, Upper Gym

Bully Proofing Parent and Student, ages 3-12. This is a unique opportunity for you to learn and bond together with your child in a physical activity that stresses fun, fitness, and fundamentals. Your child will become more self confident, learn self control, all while improving your parent-child relationship. They will develop physical problem-solving skills that can transfer to many areas of their lives. We use play-based ac-tivities and role-playing to practice Judo/Jujitsu based self-defense techniques. Most martial arts programs rely on striking the attacker with violent punches, kicks, knees, and elbows, but we take a differ-ent approach. All the techniques are purely defensive and avoid strik-ing. We look forward to providing you and your child with a memo-rable learning experience. Instructor: Frank Gerlitz, PhD. 5 Blackbelt Judo, 7 Blackbelt Jujitsu. 7 weeks.
