JULY 2017
President’s Message
Greetings, Rebels In my opinion, the 2017 Rebels Car Show was a success! It takes many people to put on a car show and all of you who showed up to work are appreciated. Thank you to everyone who helped, especially Mr. Foster for heading up the car show and to Mr. and Mrs. Ready for sponsoring the front of the T-shirt. We say a special thank you to the original Rebels mem-bers who were able to attend and show their cars. As most of you know this will be my last News letter column for some time. I will be going in to have another back fusion sometime early in July. As per Rebels BY-LAWS the VP will take over as president until such time as I can return. Till later, Drive safe and good luck at the car shows Jim D Turner, President

A BIG THANKS!!
It takes a lot of work to raise money for our causes! And it takes much to prepare for a car show event. Thanks goes out to all volunteers, but we must start by thanking Craig Foster for all of his work this past year! It ended up being a beautiful day. Of course a car show wouldn’t be much without partici-pants and their beautiful and interesting rides! And of course the spectators that came to see our event!
Thanks to the groups of volunteers that formed to make each part of the show successful…..trophy making, cooks, foods and cooler crews, crew for securing sponsors, computer programming, transpor-tation, goody bags, preregistration, registration & registration packets, web hosting, promotion & ad-vertising, flyers, shirts, parking, setup and cleanup, dash and trophy plaques, Pioneers Park, coffee & donuts crew, show entrance and classification crew, judging, bookkeeping and so much more! Thanks to each and every one of our volunteers!! You all worked hard to make this show a success!
Thanks to Loren Shauer of Shower Tunes for the great music announcements of our winners and infor-mation throughout the day and to Malcolm’s Tower Hall Catering for keeping us legal in the lunch line. We owe a big thanks to our shirt and trophy sponsors and will list them in the next newsletter. It was an exciting year to feature the Original Rebels!
Rebel’s Car Show 2017. Thanks to every-
one that helped in any and every way! Al-
so a big thanks to our sponsors! Here are
just a few pictures from the file.
