    Lack of horizontal bone to support occlusal load given the narrow nature of the mandibular ridge.Some try adding WW rests but opposing occlusion has to be just right but these arereally intended to be short term.

    Biggest problem on lower is breakage in these areas.

    Ensure that TP is well fiZing with updated reline as neededand weak areas bulked up within limits when being fabricated.
