    HAND ARICULATE IN CO

No recording material needed as you have STABLE natural tooth contacts around the arch. The more likely situation would be one that has molarcontacts on both sides of the arch. Dont use elastics to tie these casts together!

Use wooden sticks that are sticky waxed to all 4 sides to ensure no movement.

ARTICULATE WITH RECORDING MATERIAL IN CO

You have relatively stable natural contacts but require recording materialto ensure your articulation is as stable as possible. Increase in edentulous areas and/or less stable contacts from the previous.

ARTICULATE WITH RECORDING MATERIAL AND WAX RIMS IN CO

Edentulous areas have increased in size while natural tooth contacts decreaseor you have distal extension areas. The need for wax to to support the recording material to ensure greater accuracy.Still in a CO position and keep your eye on the natural tooth contacts you are

using for reference. IE: DONT COVER YOUR ANTERIOR TOOTH CONTACTS!

ARTICULATE WITH RECORDING MATERIAL AND WAX RIMS IN CR

Normally used when you have a CD/RPD with wax rims in all posterioredentulous areas. May also be used when you have RPD/RPD with fewnatural teeth remaining and will restore in CR.When I make my CR record I first use Aluwax in the anterior for my CR recordan then once Im sure Im recording in a repeatable position I go back and add

Exobite in the posterior and just make sure the lower tooth go back properly intomy Aluwax record.
